The best practices to extend the life of your body packs and microphones is to prevent moisture from getting into the body pack and microphone connectors. This means, putting on a rubber protector, using arm/waist sleeves, and placing the body packs & mics in silica packs after each class to dry out.
The connectors need to be submerged in the silica packets to draw out moisture. Silica packets can be ordered on Amazon. DO NOT LEAVE THE MICROPHONE CONNECTED TO THE BODY PACK AFTER YOUR CLASS. This will cause major corrosion and the quality of sound will decline rapidly. Your studio should have enough mic/body pack combos to rotate through each class. You should never use the same combo for back to back classes.
Wearing the Bodypack Transmitter
Clip the transmitter to a belt or slide a guitar strap through the transmitter clip as shown.
For best results, the belt should be pressed against the base of the clip.
