1) Ensure that the device volume and in-app volume are turned all the way up on the device you are playing music through and “AUX” is selected on the Crestron touch panel.
2) a) If Using Aux: Verify that the aux cable is fully seated in the wall and device properly by removing and re-pugging each end of the cable.
b) If Using iPad Spotify: Verify that the aux cable is fully seated in the iPad
3) Remove the wall plate by taking out the two screws on the cover, removing the cover, and then carefully removing the wall plate itself from the wall. Do not pull quickly or far on the wall plate as the wires will pull out! Verify that all wires are connected securely to the connector and are not broken or disconnected. If a wire has pulled out, as in the third picture below, take a small screwdriver, unscrew the screws on the connector, put the wire back in the holes (red is positive, black is negative, bare wire or yellow are ground) and tighten the screw until it is snug.
